What's Tri-Tran+ technology?

Tri-Tran+ prevents code theft so that only your approved remote controls will open your garage door. With dangerous Apps readily available to download and hack into garage door opener, it's easier than ever for would be thieves to gain access to your home. B&D's smart and encrypted Tri-Tran+ technology works by simultaneously transmitting on three different frequencies ensuring your garage is tightly secured against criminals.

Wireless devices such as headphones and sound systems also operate on the same frequencies as door and gate openers and can jam out your opener's receiver, even from a distance. With multi-frequency capability, the Tri-Tran+ transmitter will operate your garage door even if two frequencies are jammed.

Two Tri-Tran+ Premium Remote Controls come with each B&D opener. Designed to fit comfortably in hand, there’s a red and a black version so you’ll know which belongs to whom. You can also choose a lightweight, four-button remote perfect for attaching to a keyring.

Smart Phone Control

Perhaps the most exciting innovation in garage door remote access is smartphone control. If you – like most people these days – have your phone with you at all times, make the most of its abilities and opt for our Smart Phone Control Kit.
